Midday and Evening are two different games
Why the two Pick 3 drawings often show different dates, and what that means when you check a ticket.

Florida draws Pick 3 twice a day, and the two drawings are not two halves of one game. They are separate drawings with separate results, and treating them as one is the most common way a Pick 3 ticket gets checked against the wrong numbers.
Why the dates on this page often differ
Between the two drawings, one has a result for today and the other's most recent result is yesterday's. Both are correct. If you arrive in the afternoon and see Midday dated today with Evening dated yesterday, nothing is out of date — the evening drawing has not happened yet.
What that means for your ticket
Your ticket names which drawing it was bought for, and only that drawing's numbers can win it. A midday ticket compared against an evening result will look like a loss when it was a win, or the reverse. It is worth checking the drawing on the ticket before checking the numbers.
- Midday is drawn at 1:30 p.m. ET; tickets close 11 minutes earlier, at 1:19 p.m.
- Evening is drawn at 9:45 p.m. ET; tickets close at 9:34 p.m.
- An Advance Play ticket can cover midday, evening, or both — the ticket says which.
Why the rows on this page never swap places
Midday is always shown above Evening, whichever drew most recently. If the order changed with the time of day you would have to read the labels every visit to find the row you wanted, and that is exactly the moment a mistake gets made.
If you play both
Two drawings a day is two independent chances, not a better one. The evening drawing has no knowledge of the midday result, and a digit that came up at lunchtime is neither more nor less likely at night.
